There are several comfortable hotels and lodges in Siavonga catering for a variety of needs. The lower deck consists of 3 cabins (sleeping 6), two public toilets/showers, lounge, kitchen, and a fully operational Jacuzzi with sun deck. The upper deck consists of a spacious lounge and the Captain's bar. Day seats convert to comfortable beds at night which are fully covered by mosquito nets (sleeping an additional 6 passengers).

Sandy Beach Safari Lodge is situated on the shores of Lake Kariba approximately 15 kilometres outside of Siavonga.

The Lodge is under German management and is owned and run by Herman and Emily Striedl who offer you the best of German/Zambian hospitality.

As our name suggests, the Lodge has an extensive natural beach on which visitors can relax and enjoy sun drenched days and a variety of water sports.

The Lodge consists of nine chalets with en-suite shower and toilet and we include linen, towels and a braai stand in our pricing.

Camping facilities are also available.

We also have a bar, restaurant and swimming pool set amongst our well established gardens adjacent to the beach.

Village Point is a recently built lodge set in twenty hectares of beautiful bush land found on a peninsular within Lotri bay, some 40 km by road and 25 km by Lake from Siavonga town.

Village Point is off the beaten track and its idyllic setting provides a "prefect hideaway" from city life.

The Lodge consists of four tastefully appointed double story thatched chalets with a lounge area and bedroom on the upper floor. The upper floor of the chalets is open fronted and beds are provided with walk in type mosquito nets. Each chalet is situated on the Lake Shore providing front row seats to the magnificent views of the surrounding landscape. All chalets have en-suite bathrooms with toilet and shower. One chalet also has an exclusive and private open air bath-tub strategically situated to enjoy a romantic sunset venue.

In addition to the chalets, the Lodge offers alternative accommodation for the more budget minded clients. Mango Grove, built in the style of a traditional Zambian village, provides comfortable yet unique accommodation offering the ultimate "bush experience".
